Varun gained a dual degree in Finance and Management from New York, however his passion for skincare, beauty and men’s health came full circle when he decided to move back to India to assist Dermalogica grow their Indian operations and making them a major player in Asia.
As General Manager for the brand he oversaw all new strategic alliances, along with marketing and sales strategies for the company within India in keeping with the brand ethos globally. Expansion into new territories through vendor partnerships, alliances and e-commerce assisted him in garnering numerous awards in the beauty and skincare sectors.
Varun has also been a keynote speaker at the Indian Salon and Wellness Congress. Additionally in 2015 Varun achieved his Football Managerial Licenses and badges and has managed pro teams in the Indian division. He was also part of the GQ 2017 Man Of The Year issue with his insights on football development and expansion in India

She’s also a media favourite with some of the foremost beauty publications globally for her expertise on skin care as well as her insight on consumer concerns because of her hands-on approach. She is a powerhouse of knowledge in the world of skin care.
Avni has 30 years of experience in the field of skin care, spa and wellness. She qualified as an aesthetician in 1988 after receiving her diploma in London. Avni has now worked in the beauty and wellness Industry for over 30 years, specializing in skin care including the latest techniques and product innovation. Avni has been associated with some of the leading international skin and spa brands such as Clarins, Decleor, Sothy’s, Thalgo, Dermalogica, Guinot, Pevonia, etc. She has managed many skin clinics and owned skin care centres in London before her foray into India.
Apart from being a beauty entrepreneur, Avni has continued as a world-class educator. She’s been a senior lecturer, training new therapists to gain CIBTAC/CIDESCO diploma in London. Avni recognizes the need for constant education and continues to keep abreast of scientific innovation in beauty through continuous training from the International Dermal Institute, Glow Aesthetics, and other specialist training institutes in the UK, USA and Europe. Having achieved expert status, she has been able to provide advanced training in skincare to dermatologists and professional therapists. Avni is regularly invited to speak at various trade shows, congresses and seminars around the world.
As Director of Education and founder for Nytec Beauty International, Avni was instrumental in setting up the first if it’s kind, ‘state of the art’ training facility in India for Dermalogica India. Since its inception back in 2007, Avni has educated more than two thousand skin care professionals over the past 11years.
Avni has observed that within India there is immense scope in not only educating skin therapists in the latest techniques but also developing a new generation of therapists to elevate the standards of skin care and skin therapy in the country. With this thought process, Avni had been instrumental in implementing Dermalogica’s FITE (Financial Independence through Entrepreneurship) initiative in India, to Educate, Empower & Enlighten women by providing occupational skills. She has trained over 200 women and girls from some of the underprivileged areas in India and placed them in jobs! Avni believed these women have the power to yield significant returns for themselves, their families and the beauty industry as professional skin therapists. All they needed was a ‘Hand Up’ rather than a ‘Hand out’ in life!
Apart from consulting global brands on their foray into India, Avni continues to work with non-profit organisations as a national initiative to be able to join brands and hands to continue an ongoing passion of the education and awareness of skin health. She is indeed a true professional in the area of skin care and skin health education in India and believes in educating both the skin therapists and her clients.
